Ala Veto 8 Hopper

Ala Talkkari boilers need to be paired with either a hopper / burner or a rotary feeder plus burner mechanism.  The latter may have a spring agitator, situated in a reception pit.

The steel hoppers range from from 500 litres to 8 cubic metres. They are weather proof, water tight and have a sweeper mechanism which is very effective at emptying the hopper into the large, very tough auger underneath.  Larger units have spring agitators.

The handling mechanism is designed to handle from 30mm on smaller units  to  50 and 60 mm chips on larger ones. These are  a heavy duty, solid, powerful conveyors for easy flowing fuels like pellets or briquettes, or for the difficult materials like 50-60mm wood chi.

At the end of the auger is the burner which is inserted into the boiler. The burner works with chips and other fuel evenly efficiently. Wear and tear is minimised by either air or water cooling depending on size, and may have a fixed or moveable grate. Moveable grates are designed to reduce slag formation. Both grate and moving parts are replaceable.

 

This is a heavier duty machine compared to a FACI model, which is designed for 30mm chips. The Veto range are heavy duty, efficient, durable systems.
